PERFORMING OPPORTUNITIES
A word from the Director at In Motion Dance Center...
We believe all students who have a desire to perform more than in an annual recital should be able to do so. By offering four distinctly different performing troupes, we are able to realize this dream for any dancer who earns a place in one of our troupes.
CHILDREN'S DANCE THEATRE
This performing group is open to ALL In Motion students ages 6 & older, regardless of dance skill, who display a love of dance and who wish to perform more often than in our annual recital. Our goal is to share our talent with the community of Winston-Salem by offering a children's dance group.
Dance Mania, Girls in Motion, Dance Xtreme and Dance Express
In Motion Dance Center offers four performing troupes which promote dancers who seek an above the average level of dance training as well as performance skills. Each troupe rehearses and performs independently and each has their own requirements for membership. Membership is by director invitation through class observation and is based upon commitment and technical ability.
"FOR HIS GLORY"
This performing group is open to all dancers of any technical ability who are 6 and older. Girls must also be enrolled in our weekly Praise and Worship class. "For His Glory" is a contempory Christian dance ensemble dedicated to glorifying Jesus through dance in community performances.
